Who's got the scoop ?

As many of you will be aware, Anya rarely posts any actual news on her blog these days, relying instead on the usual claptrap and arty farty bollocks to maintain the interest of her readers. In fact, things have got so bad on her site that even she herself has started to keep a careful eye on this very site to see what's going on. Don't believe me? Well, although Anya claims to have only popped over to visit once to see what the fuss was about, careful scrutiny of the IP's of all visitors means that I can pinpoint said visitors to quiet a high degree of accuracy. This site was also the first to break the news of the advanced sales of Anya's book (with acknowledgments to Third Eye) on Amazon before even Anya herself knew. In fact, she was forced to mention it on her own blog a few days later as a damage limitation exercise. My oh my, how that must have pained her that someone else had robbed her of the chance to post something solid on her site instead of the usual meaningless mumbo jumbo about crackers, trees or fairies. As I mentioned from the very first posts, this site is a Wanderingscribe Bullshit free zone and it's heartening that even Anya herself is keeping tabs on my humble "tribute" site to keep abreast of developments concerning her con. Stay tuned folks ........

Its been a week since her last post.
Has the jutting out kitchen fell off the building?

IF YOU LOOK BACK TO THE EARLY STUFF.... THE CLUES ARE ALL THERE, ITS UTTER SHITE FROM START TO FINISH.

Remembered opening lines: 'I went down to the hazel wood because a fire was in my head...pulled a branch from a tree(?) tied a berry to a thread...' (??) which I love. Heard it told in my dad's voice, which is strange, because don't remember him ever reciting that one (though he recited poetry lots, mostly the Irish poets: Yeats, Kavanagh, Heaney...) Felt myself falling down into deeper sadness, walking into it slowly, shut down, the way people must wade out into a roiling ocean, to their death.

Ah the good old days! Bulldykes and PayPal thieving..... happy days.

Yeah, and all the crap about Mothers' Day etc, that were nothing to with anything about being homeless. Now it's clear all this crap is to set the scene for the forthcoming Misery Memoir. What a lot of fake nonsense - and what a shame that the British people have to have this self pitying shite forced onto them - by a con artist. With a jutting out kitchen.

Apparently the kitchen is made entirely of cream crackers.... so its no surprise there's a jutting out bit here and there... Poor old WS. I imagine even her shit smells of lavender.

((((((HUGS))))))

Best Regards

The Moben Nuns.

I like to imagine all the homeless people in London, as they log on to the internet from the many public libraries, or perhaps they use an internet cafe...they sit there, having parked their cars for free in one of London's many hospitals...they read Anya's blog and dream of the day that they too will eat cream crackers in a jutting out kitchen, whilst writing a book THAT IS NOT WRITTEN YET on a computer IN AN INTERNET CAFE. For free.

As the saying goes, the best things in life are free. Good job that so many things in London are free for the homeless.

The writing quality is piss poor though. It's excusable when it's supposed to be a stream of consciousness from a mentally disturbed homeless woman with no pretensions of being anything else and no ulterior motive of getting a book deal, but as it is so obviously just a fabrication...

All I can believe is that it is some kind of marketing exercise to launch a British misery memoir. Because just publishing a memoir of a total nobody whom no-one has ever heard of would not generate many sales would it?

Also if the story is true there must be lots of people out there who know Anya Peters (even assuming it was a pen name) so why have none of them come forward to confirm the truth of the story?

Some very good points there folks.

As pointed out on BadgerDaddy's site, the advance fee is usually out in the public domain and yet this too is shrouded in secrecy.
Could it be because it may affect "Anya's" benefit situation?
Or is it because Anya doesn't exist?

I'm sure we'll find out the sordid truth soon enough .....

Hugs...

"But I would rather die, than have anyone know that. Would rather sleep in my car through every winter there is, than have anyone know how deep the pain of the absence of love is."

Or, I'd rather write a book about it and list it on Amazon!!!

I DON'T WANT TO TELL ANYONE ABOUT MY ABUSED CHILDHOOD! OVER HERE! LOOK AT MY ABUSED CHILDHOOD THAT I AM KEEPING SECRET FROM EVERYONE! DON'T LOOK NOW AT MY ABUSED SECRET CHILDHOOD THAT I POSTED ON THE INTERNET

For Heaven's sake.

Sorry, bit off-topic, but there's something puzzling me. What exactly is a laneway? How does a laneway differ from a lane? Why did AP choose this obscure word?

Anonymous said...

Take a listen to this drivel...... God only knows what it is or who its aimed at but its as twee as WS and the laneway elves........ No mention of Cream Crackers sadly...

World peace? You want fucking chinning!

With people like you, Peace isn't an easy subject, but maybe...
The rest is easy...

Why would someone write such a stupid story?
With such strange characters?
This is even worse than the real THING...

Anonymous said...

What's so fucking interesting in a fucking book?

wanderingScribe said...

What's so interesting in a blog?

This world is fast becoming a voyeuristic one in which people gain as much pleasure from seeing others lives as living a life themselves.

In such a climate, who's to say what's real and what's imagination..........

WS

What's voyeuristic got to do with seeing a blog that shows nothing at all about noone at all?
What's this got to do with anyone's live?
Voyeurs see something concrete you know? they see other people's life and those being observed have no CHOICE in that!!!!

wanderingScribe said...

Although we are straying slightly from the subject of dear anya, I'll take a moment to address the flaw in your logic.

People who are the object of voyeuristic activity often are fully aware of being observed and get some pleasure from it.
Take "Dogging" for example.

The people parked up in their cars in woods and laneways (ooohhh.. the similarity !!) are well aware that their activities are being watched.
In fact, that's the whole point of doing it.
So that they can gain some noteriety and publicity from their act.

Heaven forbid anyone would accuse Wanderingscribe of being into Dogging.

But she did have a car.

And was parked in woods a lot.

Did we get the whole story?

I wouldn't like to speculate but she has kept some juicy titbits back for the book (the whole "abused" bit for a start).

Hugs and steamed up windows .........

Yes, the blog is just a marketing 'teaser' for the forthcoming epic 340 pages of self pitying tear-jerker whingefest, soon to become a major motion picture starring Mr Bean as Anya.

Perhaps we will read all about Anya's dogging experiences there, as well as how she had a tragic childhood in a Cornish fishing village. And how she has her own Guardian Angel.
