I read a few months ago, and initially, was full of admiration for Anya. Then I came across your blog and doubts appeared. Two things to raise.
1. Child abuse is common and horrendous - I speak from experience. It is despicable that someone can make money from pretending to go through the traumas of abuse and an insult to those that have.
2. Although, I think your blog brings alight some questions towards Anyas story, I also think you put down the importance of abuse, probably because you have not experienced it. Please have some sympathy for others that have not had the luxury of a 'normal' childhood.
I hope Anya is telling the truth, though I now doubt that.
Hi Denise,
I have been folowing her blog for a long time now and there are soooo many inconsistencies right from the start that everything she says is viewed with the utmost suspicion.
Child abuse is indeed a terrible crime but this facet wasn't even touched upon (i n the blog) until the book deal was signed up and the ghost writer was on board (his specialist subject too!).
Now you may wonder why this was left out of the blog in the first instance as it was described as a way of pouring out all her grief and feelings etc.
Perhaps it was felt that a book about someone who merely becomes homeless for a few months certainly didn't provide enough "meat" for a whole book.
Perhaps it was suggested that other more melodramatic elements were needed.
You take a look at the overall story and the history of the blog together with the manilpulation of the readers and it raises many questions about the motivation of the author.
All I have ever done is highlight those inconsistencies.
Sunday Hugnessssss.......

Anya the Wandering Scam Artist should be thoroughly ashamed of herself. The thought of her going along with the abuse angle after she agreed to a publishing deal, just for a good marketing angle makes me fucking mad.
Hi
i read your book it was realy horrible what happened to you but you manneged to pull yourself back up so well done!
x
Hi Anya
I read your book crying most of the way, and wondered what has happened to you now?
Did you manage to keep your head up, or are you tempted to just give up. Are you living a FULL life NOW?
Sonia
I read your book and was able to identify with so much of it and it has helped me in a time of my life, which I did not think I needed hels anymore. the childhood abuse never goes away and is amazing how it all comes back up again as different events happen in life. I do hope that all you wrote was truthful. I did not question it. I was disappointed that the homelessness seemed to take precedent over the childhood abuse. although both are horrible the abuse just seemed to be swept aside and it needs a lot more attention! I hope you are well now.
